The Origin Story

Evolving 

It started with a dream of Polite Plants being the ice cream truck of the plant world, taking the nursery to the neighborhoods.  The menu would feature seasonal vegetables, herbs, flowers, fruit trees, house and landscaping plants, cacti, and succulents.  Imagine a truck stocked with all the best plants instead of ice cream.  No sugar.  No fat.  Just pure plant joy.  While Polite Plants is not YET cruising through neighborhoods with Vivaldi on the loudspeaker... it is an attainable goal.  Imagine sitting at your kitchen table and hearing classical music playing.  You run outside, arms waving, to flag down the "plant truck" so you can order new plants with your plant allowance...  

Right now,  ​​​​Polite Plants partners with private and community hosts to bring the nursery to your location.  We partner with farm markets, vendor events, schools & colleges, churches & synagogues, breweries, local parks, music events, weddings, and all places plant lovers gather.  Call or email to host the mobile nursery or to create partnership events and fundraisers.
